Requirements for business e-Visa

The Kenyan business electronic visa is valid for ninety days from the day of issue. Those with Kenyan business e-visas can stay in Kenya for a maximum of ninety days from their entry into Kenya.

At the end of the ninety days, visitors can renew their visa at the immigration office in Nairobi so that they can stay for an additional ninety days.

The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least six months from their arrival in Kenya. It must also have at least two blank pages on which the border and immigration officer must sign and affix the stamp to indicate your entry and exit to Kenya.

Applicants must have a passport despite their age.

Important information for the Kenya business e-visa

As a candidate, you must carry a copy of your business e-visa to any place you will be traveling during your stay in Kenya. All visa applicants are expected to have documents proving that they have a travel itinerary once they arrive in Kenya (invitation letter or hotel reservation). The passport photograph you upload should meet the following prerequisites:

  • Your head should be in the center and cover about 70% of your photo.

  • White background with a clear and complete view of your face.

  • You must provide the recent photo that you took less than 6 months ago.

  • You should show a natural expression with your mouth closed
